Welcome to Shoot-Out Hockey !!!A fast playing, easy to learn hockey game, that can be played withFast Action Cards or Dice and Charts. Shoot-Out Hockey (S-O) is a quick play (10-15 minutes) hockey game where leading goal scorers, key-playmakers, high PIM goons and clutch goaltenders will perform on your tabletop as they did in real-life. Unlike many quick play hockey games, dice rolls are not used to “backfill” the final score. Shoot-Out Hockey provides a sense of the actual ebb and flow of real hockey action. While the game will not reproduce every hockey stat, it will provide realistic individual and team scoring, assists, penalty minutes, along with some exciting unusual/rare plays. DECADE SETS 1950s / 1960s / 1970's / 1980s These are Decade sets that represent the composite picture of a team in that particular decade. The 1950s &1960s Decade sets include the Original Six teams. Bos, Chi, Det, Mon, NYR, and Tor The 1970s Decade set includes 15 teams: Mon, Bos, Phi, Buf, Chi, NYR, NYI, Atl, Tor, LAK, Pit, StL, Min, Det, Van The 1980s Decade set includes 21 teams: The 15 teams above (except Atl becomes Cal) Plus: Edm, Was, Har, Win, Que, NJD To be included in a decade set, a franchise had to have at least 7 teams in the decade and a player had to have played at least three years with a club to be considered. If a player qualified for more than one club, the final decision was mine. Each roster contains about twenty skaters and three goalies. A player's average performance for that team in that decade is the foundation for his ratings in a Shoot-Out decades set. For example Bobby Orr played 4 seasons for the Bruins in the 1960s and averaged 20 goals / 45 assists / 106 PIM in those 4 seasons. Those averages would then be modified to fit into the Bruins average stats for that same decade. |
